PROCEDURE:
1.
I MADE STANDARD CONNECTION AND ARRANGEMENTS BETWEEN GM- COUNTING
SYSTEM, DETECTOR, ABSORBER, AND SOURCE.
2.
THEN I SET THE GM VOLTAGE AT THE OPERATING VOLTAGE OF THE GM TUBE.
3.
I TOOK FEW BACKGROUNDS (ABOUT 5 READINGS) MEASUREMENTS WITHOUT
SOURCE FOR A PRESENT TIME OF SAY 60 SECONDS.
4.
I CALCULATED AVERAGE BACKGROUND COUNTS IN 60 SECONDS AS
